Boys & Girls Club of Kingman Wins National Marketing Award

Kingman, Arizona, April 24, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Boys & Girls Club of Kingman, located in rural Northwestern Arizona, was awarded the Gold Marketing & Communication Award from the national organization for the 2016 Comprehensive Marketing Campaign put together by Bill Ward, Club CEO and Ignite Brand Marketing, a full-service ad agency also based in Kingman. Awarded each year for excellence in marketing, brand awareness and measurable results, the winning Club and agency will be recognized at the National Conference in New Orleans, LA in May.

“In 2014, we made the decision to transition from a rural community childcare facility to a premier youth development center. This decision came with quite a few challenges, however, including (1) a somewhat negative public reputation, (2) incorrect preconceived notions of our operations and purpose, (3) a lack of advocacy, and (4) minimal funding” explains Ward. In order to overcome these issues, he sought out resources and retained the services -probono- of local ad agency Ignite Brand Marketing to help develop a marketing strategy that would overcome these challenges and position the Club to achieve its true Impact within the Kingman community.
